I am a professionally qualified and registered psychoanalytic psychotherapist providing psychotherapy and counselling to individuals and couples, and supervision and consultation to other professionals and trainees.
I have specialist trainings and experience in the treatment of people who have experienced trauma, especially complex trauma.
Currently I work as the head of a general psychotherapy and counselling service and also as a psychotherapist for an organisation that provides psychological services to people who have experienced torture and organised violence. Additionally, I am a tutor at Human Development Scotland and I retain a private practice and GP referral service, in central Edinburgh, offering psychotherapy, counselling, supervision and consultancy.
Previously, I worked in a general psychotherapy service in the NHS and I also ran a service for people who experienced childhood sexual abuse, sexual assault and domestic violence.
